Peebles is without doubt one of the most beautiful towns in Scotland. Peebles is situated on the River Tweed 25 miles (approx) south of Edinburgh in the Scottish Borders. Over the forthcoming weeks, we will be adding more information about Peebles and it's people. In the meantime, why not enjoy the pictures below!

Manor Bridge which crosses the River Tweed just North of Peebles

Neidpath Castle this stronghold stands guard on the banks of the River Tweed just North of Peebles. Oliver Cromwell once tried to destroy the castle by bomardment by heavy cannon from the South bank but did not succeed! The castle is now open to the public and is a very popular tourist attraction.
